SMS TERMS OF SERVICE

These SMS Terms of Service ("SMS Terms") govern your use of text messaging services offered by Shift Into Coverage ("we," "us," "our"). By opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms.

1. Program Description

Shift Into Coverage operates two SMS messaging programs: (a) Account Notifications, which deliver the educational content you requested (including The Smart Driver's Auto Insurance Handbook) and related service messages; and (b) Marketing, which delivers occasional promotional and informational messages about new educational guides and resources. Each program requires a separate opt-in.

2. Carrier and Service Information

Program name: Shift Into Coverage Educational SMS.
Message frequency varies. Typically up to 8 marketing messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless carrier and plan.
Supported carriers: all major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

3. Opt-In

You opt in to a program by checking the corresponding unchecked-by-default consent box on our subscribe page and providing your mobile number. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving any content; all of our educational materials are also available by email.

4. Opt-Out

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. After you send one of these keywords, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages from that program.

6. No Sharing of Mobile Information

Shift Into Coverage does not sell, rent, share, or transfer your mobile phone number, opt-in data, or SMS consent records to any insurance carrier, agent, broker, insurance marketplace, lead aggregator, data broker, or marketing partner under any circumstance. All categories of mobile information collected through SMS opt-in exclude sharing with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

7. Not an Insurance Service

Shift Into Coverage is an educational publishing resource. We are not an insurance company, agent, broker, marketplace, or lead generation platform. No SMS message we send constitutes insurance advice, a quote, an offer, or a solicitation for insurance. You will never be connected with an insurance agent as a result of subscribing.

8. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older, a U.S. resident, and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number you provide.

9. Privacy

Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
